Governor General, Sir Bob Dadae, was among the group that receive the Astrazeneca vaccine yesterday.
On Tuesday the Prime Minister, the Pandemic Controller and other senior politicians were the first to receive the vaccine which is being administered at the National Football Stadium.
A number of Health workers in Port Moresby were also amongst the 1st to receive the vaccine.
Despite a public outcry questioning the effectiveness of the vaccines, the Government maintains its stance on the roll out of the vaccine with priority given to front-line health workers in the coming weeks.
