Bank South Pacific is a silver sponsor of the National Planning Consultative Summit which convened yesterday in Lae, Morobe Province.
This announcement was made when BSP Retail General Manager, Paul Thornton, presented a cheque of K50,000 to National Planning Minister, Richard Maru.
In receiving the cheque, Minister Maru said that this would be the third time in 15 years that a National Development Plan for the country will be written, and within that time the private sector, civil society and international experts were not included.
This time the private sector, civil society and international experts will be included in discussions that are aimed at creating a plan to improve the future of Papua New Guinea’s economy.
