Two NCD Car Accidents in One Morning

A Central man had escaped death with deep cuts to his head after a white Toyota Sedan Camry he was driving overturned along the Sir John Guise Drive next to the Waigani Traffic Lights in the early hours of this morning.

The accident happened minutes after a previous accident occurred a few metres away from the scene next to Sir Manasupe Building building near the Waigani Traffic Light.

He was driving at high speed and lost control of the steer causing his car to hit the iron pegs on the road side forcing it to overturn.

The driver had sustained serious injuries to his head. Police arrived there on time and managed to rescue him while his accomplice fled.

Police say he was a suspect on the run for false pretense involving cash amounting to K10, 000 from another person.

The suspect was brought in for questioning to confirm his identity before charges could be laid.
