2017 ICC Women’s World underway with Australia leading

The 2017 ICC Women’s World currently underway in England is seeing Australia leading the tournament ahead of India and followed by New Zealand.

The 8-team competition started a week ago and will end on the 23rd of this month.

Defending Champions Australia faced very strong opposition from West Indies and Sri Lanka but managed to defeat them.

While India managed to hold the second spot after their 35 run win over England in their opener match last Saturday.

West Indies, Sri Lanka are yet to win a match, as of the 2 matches played each, all three have won none.

Australia will face New Zealand again tomorrow night.

The competition is expected to go through 31 One Day International (ODIs) gamess before the final.
