2017 saw the inaugural PNG Cocoa Warwagira in Kokopo, East New Britain Province – known as the spiritual home of cocoa in Papua New Guinea.
The event, hosted by Cocoa Board of PNG, was primarily intended to promote cocoa of excellence by engaging farmers, processors, exporters, and manufacturers in ensuring that only the best practices are utilised from the farm to markets.
