Scotland Faces Namibia

While the Hebou PNG Barramundis work towards their October meet with Scotland, the Scottish side are now playing host in their match against Namibia for the Inter-Continental Cup.

The four day fixture started today.

And the two one-day fixtures will be played on the 11th and 13th of this month.

Currently sitting two places down from Papua New Guinea on the 4th Placing in the World Cricket League Championship point’s ladder and 7th in the I-Cup, Scotland, on their road to the 2019 World Cup have a challenging Namibian side to overcome before they can take on PNG.

On the other hand, the Barras are hot on the heels of competition leader Netherlands in the World Cricket League Championship.

And despite their loss to United Arab Emirates in the round five fixtures earlier this year, they have maintained their presence in the top four in both competitions.

This is because; only the top four in the World Cricket league Championship will gain entry to the ICC World Cup.

Come October they will battle once more to seal their road to the World Cup.
