Remembering the Fallen Comrades of WWII at the RPYC

The ANZAC Day was commemorated today at the Royal Papua Yacht Club with a host of activities to mark the 75th anniversary of the World War II campaign in Papua New Guinea.

Australian Opposition Leader, Bill Shorten, who was present at the Ceremony, said with 75 years on, it’s good to see Australia and Papua New Guineans stand shoulder to shoulder.
