Lae Police have arrested five suspects involved in an armed robbery near the ANZ market branch in Lae on Tuesday.
Lae Metropolitan Commander Chief Superintendent, Anthony Wagambie, said seven armed men held up the employees of a mobile store who were making their way to the bank.
A large sum of money was stolen while the security manager of the phone company was also held up and a bag containing the company’s licensed pistol, also stolen.
