As at 9am this morning, the Koari Landowners closed off the valves at Sirinumu Dam in protest over the government’s lack of response to their claims which was lodged last week Tuesday.
The petition, addressed to the Ministry of Works and implementation, underlines their demands to the government concerning a delay in the construction of the 5km stretch of road from Boda to the Sirinumu dam site.
