Team France visited their adopted village, Koki Wanigela today to show their appreciation for their support all throughout the tournament.
A small gathering was held at the village hall where many people attended, to see team France.
They were greeted to chants and a packed entrance at the village.
Despite the scorching sun and their busy schedule, they made time available to see their supporters.
Governor Powes Parkop thanked the team and wished them all the best in the finals on Saturday.
The supporters were also given the chance to show the players their different chants.
The players were than presented with PNG bilums, caps and shirts by Governor Parkop.
Men, women and children also ran towards the players to give different gifts.
To conclude the occasion, the whole village got involved in the different chants to send the team France off.
