Nancy Simeon and Zenaleze Abage are two young female historians working with the National Museum and Art Gallery, Port Moresby.
In preparation for the coming exhibition that will be hosted in November, the two young historians will take a 10-day trip to Australia.
The two will be accompanied by Principal Curator for Contemporary Arts Department, Hillary Miria.
The two historians with the curator will visit the National Archives and Library in Canberra. They will work closely with the staff and collect information, photographs and videos of historic politicians and milestone events relevant to the exhibition.
The exhibition will showcase the political and legal history of Papua New Guinea from years 1948-1984.
And resources collected from the trip will be exhibited at the exhibition.
The exhibition is a major event the Museum is looking forward to host, and will open in November at the Old House of Assembly.
