For Women’s World, We feature some of Papua New Guinea’s inspirational women.
On this episode, we have Janet Yaki, a woman who has survived ‘bowel cancer’ and despite the challenges she faced, has gone out of her way to create awareness and help other survivors like herself.
We also featured Heni Meke, the director of Anglicare PNG who has had an influential role in HIV and AIDS policy.
Included also in this episode, are two young women living with disabilities. They show us how they have looked past their disabilities and embraced life to the fullest.
