Up-And-Coming Athlete To Shine In PNG Games

 
She’s 17 with promising signs of maturity.
 
Jenny Albert was identified from the 2012 PNG Games while representing her birth province.
 
The young Simbu lass has a long way to go under the thorough guidance of the PNG Athletics Union.
 
She is part of the team that competed in the Oceania Cross Country Championships in Guam.
 
A double celebration was made for Jenny Albert, who came a long way to set records in her athletic career.
 
She is part of the athletes the PNG Athletics Union has selected to compete in the 2015 Pacific Games in specialty middle and long distance. She just proved her worth at Guam, coming back home with gold.
 
She won the women’s 800m over in two minutes, 19 seconds ahead of Tuna Tine and US-based Poro Gahekave in the 2013 Mini Pacific Games in Wallis and Futuna.
 
She was identified from the 2012 PNG Games in Kokopo and from there on she didn’t look back as she centred her sporting career goals.
 
She’s no exception for the PNG Games as she will join forces with Team Simbu.
 
The 2015 Pacific Games is close and this young star will surely shine on home soil, which is what she’s working towards.
