Turi Officially Hands Over NCD Met Sup to N’dranou

In a small handover ceremony on Wednesday at Boroko Police Station, outgoing NCD Met Sup, Benjamin Turi, officially handed over the position to Chief Superintendent, Perou N’dranou.

Met Superintendent N’dranou took up the post on Monday.

Met Sup, N’dranou said his aim is to regain public confidence in the NCD Police service.

As per a directive by the Police Commissioner, Gari Baki, last month following a reshuffle, Metropolitan Superintendent, Perou N’dranou, officially was handed the position by the outgoing Met Sup, Benjamin Turi.

He said his strategy is to gain public confidence in NCD Police Services.

His plan of action will see the NCD Beat unit disbanded to complement other NCD Police units that are currently under training.

He also plans to keep all NCD Police members to wear proper uniforms as part of his action plan to improve the image of police.

N’dranou took office two days ago and is confidant of performing on what he has been tasked to do and his strategy as outlines will be discussed with the three superintendents for; operations, administration and crime investigation before implementations.
