Trukai Industries Limited has presented K50,000 towards the National Game Fishing Tournament, which will be held in Lae.
The presentation of the K50,000 marks Trukai’s renewed sponsorship of the Papua New Guinea Game Fishing Association for the next four years.
Trukai Industries National Sales and Marketing Manager, Heral Buksh, said the sponsorship reinforces the company’s support for sports, tourism, and community engagement.
“The four-year commitment reflects Trukai’s continued support for the anglers, organizers, and the wider community involved in the event,” Buksh said.
He said the partnership would also provide an opportunity to promote PNG’s waters and support sports tourism.
Buksh said Trukai looks forward to continuing the partnership and supporting the growth of the tournament.
President of the Lae Game Fishing Club, Scott Randall, acknowledged and thanked Trukai for its continued support and partnership.
