According to EMTV’s journalist Vanessa Knight, Dakevakomana village is among a group of villages in the inland Rigo, which has seen little to no development due to its isolation and poor road conditions. Because of its mountainous and rocky terrain, villagers go through a daily struggle accessing basic services like water, health, and education.
