The Rugby League World Cup 2017 Organising Committee has announced the ticket prices for games played in PNG.
Many Papua New Guineans will be able to attend with tickets prices as low as K30.
Rugby League World Cup CEO Andrew Hill unveiled the ticket prices yesterday and kick-off times for PNG’s three pool matches.
Hill said the decision to have tickets at affordable prices is because they want as many people to be able to experience the Rugby League World Cup.
Tickets start going on sale on the 24th of August here in Port Moresby and can also be bought online at the RLWC website.
Tickets will be sold at Brian Bell Boroko, Gordons, and Vision City branches, Stop & Shop Rainbow and Waigani, Big Rooster Erima and Koki branches and Cool Stuff at the Waterfront Harbour City. Tickets can also be bought at any Ticket Mastas outlets in the Nation’s Capital.
Kumuls Coach Michael Marum said they are privileged to play their three pool matches here in the country.
As hosting partners of the RLWC2017, PNG will stage the Kumuls matches at the Oil Search National Football Stadium, with the Kumuls to take on Wales on Saturday the 28th of October at 3pm, their 2nd match against Ireland on the 5th of November at 4pm and the last match against USA on Sunday the 12th of November at 3pm.
