Telikom PNG has launched its PNG Games android application to bring the PNG Games closer to all Papua New Guineans.
This app will provide real time updates of the medal tally to see which province is leading and video highlights of the Games from Lae, Morobe Province.
The PNG Games app can be downloaded from Google Play Store to your smartphone or device to keep you up to date with the Games medal tally, as well as video highlights.
This is part of Telikom PNG’s committed sponsorship of the PNG Games under the Garamut category. Telikom has installed the fibre optic infrastructure for EM TV to broadcast the Games live from Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium, along with a relayed telecast of Games events from other venues.
Internet service will also be provided at the two main stadiums.
Telikom PNG Chief Executive Officer, Michael Donnelly said Telikom will make available links using its fibre and satellite networks between the Sir Ignatius complex and EM TV’s studio in Port Moresby for Internet, fixed voice services and the carriage of television broadcast services.
Tickets for the PNG Games opening ceremony are on sale at Telikom’s Lae office.
