Team Central is closer to reaching its target to send all its athletes to the PNG Games in Kokopo with various members of Parliament pledging their support in terms of funding.
Minister for Health and Member for Moresby North West Michael Malabag pledged K50 000 towards Team Central at a Fundraising Dinner held over the weekend.
