TAMBANUM SUSPECTS SURRENDER AFTER ARMED ROBBERY PURSUIT

East Sepik Provincial Police Commander Christopher Tamari has commended his officers for their persistence in tracking down suspects involved in the latest armed robbery at Kewar Kunai, Mudomundo in Angoram, East Sepik Province. 

According to PPC Tamari the suspects are all from Tambanum village, initially fled upon sighting police but were later pursued and eventually surrendered. Community members had earlier confiscated weapons from the group before handing them over to authorities. 

PPC Tamari praised the coordinated effort between police and local members, noting that the successful surrender and recovery of weapons reflects the determination of law enforcement to uphold peace and security in the district. He reaffirmed that the suspects are now in custody and will face due process.
