The staff of Government House gathered today at the State House in Port Moresby to dedicate the 2019 working year and two brand new cars from Ela Motors for the Late Lady Hannah Dadae and the Governor General. The late Lady Hannah’s car will be used by her children because the car was delivered three months after her passing.
The two cars, a White 5-Door Land Cruiser was meant to be given to late Lady Hannah, and a maroon VX is for the Governor General to use.
The dedication service was led by Pastor Reverent Jack Moha from the Sione Kami Memorial United Church. Pastor Moha says he believes dedicating this year to the Lord is the right thing to do.
Acting Official Secretary, Bill Toraso, on behalf of all the staff members welcomed the Governor General back to office. Toraso says they are prepared carry on from where they left off last year, urging his staff to always remind themselves that they are working for the people of Papua New Guinea.
Governor General, Sir Bob Dadae, acknowledged Pastor Moha for leading the service with the word of God. Sir Dadae added that further issues and agendas with regards to staff and office matters will be discussed on Monday next week.
