To water sport, The Pacific Towing Regatta race took place at Ela Beach over the weekend which saw three affiliated outrigger canoe clubs under PNG Canoe Association the, Konedobu Kanu Klab (3K), Port Moresby Outrigger Canoe Club (POMOCC) and Kemper Leva Club (KLC) travelling in from Babaka Village, outside of Port Moresby to participate.
The event consisted of straight sprints of 250m and 500m course.
