Resource PNG – Episode 16, 2014

In this episode:

Over the last 38 years since independence, Papua New Guinea has adopted a model of development that has conflicted with its guiding values and principles stipulated in the National Constitution; a vision expressed by PNG’s founding fathers.

We feature a documentary showing how PNG will realign its development roadmap to link with the wisdom of the past.

This is a paradigm shift in PNG that will convert from a brown to a green economy.

The Department of National Planning and Monitoring, under the leadership of Minister Charles Abel, has introduced a development revolution that will make PNG a leading Nation in the world.

The National Strategy for Responsible Sustainable Development, otherwise known as ‘The Strategy,’ is an addendum to the PNG Development Strategic Plan of 2010-2030.
