Ramu NiCo Management (MCC) Ltd, the developer of Ramu nickel/cobalt projects in Madang Province, was proud to support Team Madang in the PNG Games with K10,000 funding.
A presentation ceremony was staged at the Ramu NiCo (MCC) operation base in Madang Town.
President of Ramu NiCo, Wang Jicheng said during the brief presentation ceremony that the company is committed to developing social programs in Madang for children, women and youths, and that supporting sports is a good opportunity to see our people move forward.
He said Ramu NiCo will be supporting and cheering for Team Madang at the PNG Games and wishes all sporting teams the best of luck at the Games.
Team Madang’s coordination team, led by Deputy Provincial Administrator Ganei Agodop, thanked Ramu NiCo for the generous assistance, stating that the Madang Provincial Administration acknowledges the company as a major development partner in the province, and such assistance towards sports goes a long way in social development.
He added that it is not the first time for Ramu NiCo to support sports and other social activities in Madang; the Provincial Administration acknowledges the company highly and will support the Ramu NiCo Project and work together for common benefit.
