With the number of COVID 19 cases increasing in the nation’s capital, psychiatric patients are at risk of contracting and spreading the virus.

Speaking to the media yesterday, PNG Nurses Association National President Fredrick Kebai said special attention must be given to Laloki Psychiatric Hospital including other Mental Health Services in the country.

He says, nurses must be equipped with Personal Protective Equipment, and first aid training conducted for nurses responding to COVID 19 cases.
