The PNG Games Executives alongside rugby league icon, Scott Prince, visited the children of Korobosea International School today.
The visit falls as an act of spreading awareness and community engagement on the road to the 6th PNG Games.
PNG rugby league fans will be excited to know that Scott Prince, a former Brisbane Broncos halfback, hit the shores of Papua New Guinea yesterday, and visited some very fortunate students.
With the PNG games just around the corner, CEO of PNG Games, Materua Tamerua is looking to get as many children involved in the journey towards the games as possible.
Children of Korobosea International School were all smiles, when Prince addressed the children on what it takes to be a prominent athlete.
Mr. Tamerua said Scott Prince’s school visits were their number one priority as the future of the games lies in the hands of our children.
Prince acknowledged the un-tapped talent that lies within our shores and is eager to witness some outstanding results, come November.
Prince and Toea Wisil, both ambassadors of the PNG Games, will be working in collaboration to bring the games closer to the people, as they embark on their journey to the 2014 6th PNG Games.
