Port Moresby Corporate Volleyball Competition Progressing Smoothly

The second season of Corporate Volleyball competition in Port Moresby is progressing smoothly with 21 corporate companies making up almost 50 teams participating every weekend at the Taurama Aquatic Center.

With new teams that have signed up, new players comprising of former PNG volleyball representatives are giving the younger players and their teams, a run for their money.

The competition is an initiative by the National Capital District Commission’s Social Services Division. It was organised by Kila Dick, current President of PNG Volleyball Federation.

The main purpose of the Competition is to keep fit.

Now into its third week, many strong teams have come out to participate this season.

The competition ends in June and companies who have not signed up are encouraged to come on board. Vaitai hopes that in the next season there will be more participants signing up.
