Opposition leader, Don Polye has begun his campaign trail with Moresby South the first electorate to visit.
The sitting Kandep MP accompanied Triumph and Heritage Empowerment candidate Samson Kirilyo yesterday for a rally at the Kaugere Oval.
The Opposition leader was greeted with a swarm of people as he found his way to the grandstand. Polye’s campaign message was to elect leaders to fight corruption.
Samson Kirilyo is a first time contender in the National Elections, but he says, if people believe in his leadership, Kirilyo will represent the people on the floor of parliament to resolve issues affecting Moresby South people and push the agenda of curbing corrupt practices in the public sector.
Opposition stronghold and sitting Kikori MP, Mark Maipakai said he is confident of new leaders joining T.H.E Party to help redirect leadership in the country.
Opposition Leader Don Polye will be visiting other provinces in the next 3 weeks to campaign for T.H.E Party candidates.
