The U.S. Embassy of Papua New Guinea has announced that Deslyn Siniu is the successful recipient of the 2017-2018 Fulbright Scholarship from Papua New Guinea.
Fulbright scholarship recipients are chosen based on their academic merit and leadership potential.
As the successful recipient of the 2017-2018 Fullbright Scholarship, Deslyn will receive a tuition grant for coursework and a monthly stipend to cover living expenses at their host institution as well as round trip transportation and health benefits.
Deslyn will be starting her master’s program in criminal law at Dickson Law School at the Pennsylvania (Penn) State University.
She is scheduled to leave for the United States this Friday to begin her Master’s program.
The J. William Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.
