Following a week of continuous heavy rain and strong winds, the Weather Service says the worst has passed.
Speaking to EMTV News, National Weather Service Director, Samuel Maiha said there are indications that the country will be experiencing normal wet season with the usual North Westerly Winds.
Maiha said the weather we are experiencing now, is the normal wet season that occurs each year from December to February.
