PNG AIR Services Continues Buk Bilong Pikinini Partnership

 

PNG Air Services has renewed its partnership with the Buk bilong Pikinini Library after signing a Memorandum of Understanding that will pave the way for a continued partnership with Buk bilong Pikinini for another three years.

PNG Air has been providing freight services to the BbP Library Learning Centres that enables the transport of books, supplies and teachers to Library Learning Centres across the country.

Founder of Buk bilong Pikinini, Anne Sophie Hermann acknowledged PNG Air saying their support has helped BbP to reach 20 library learning centres in the country.

“With this MoU, we are pleased to announce PNG Air as Platinum sponsor for Buk bilong Pikinini,” says Hermann.

As part of the Book Week celebrations, the BbP library learning centres has organized programs for the children.

This morning nine children from the Tatana Learning Centre visited PNG Air to thank the company and were given a short tour in one of the planes.

Chief Executive Officer of PNG Air Paul Abbot said the company is happy to contribute to literacy program in the country.
