The Promotion Coordinator for Paradise Foods Limited in Port Moresby Venita Martin explained that this is part of their community Outreach program and also part of their Mission-Vision to give back to the community.

“We did this last year during the festive season but we decided to do this in the New Year because there are other organizations visiting the children as well during the Christmas”

“Apart from the festive season donation to the general hospitals around the country, we also do donation drops all throughout the year to schools and churches in the communities” She said

Here in NCD the staff decided to donate the gifts on New Year’s Day to the two children’s ward and one paediatric clinic at the Port Moresby General Hospital.

These visits put smiles on the sick children’s faces and brought joy to their parents.
