Pangu Party Candidates nominated

At least 600 people were present at Lae’s top town area to witness the nomination of two Pangu Party candidates for the Lae Open and Morobe Regional seats.

Party Leader, Sam Basil, escorted the two candidates to the nomination site.

Ginson Saonu will be contesting the Regional seat, while Samson Ambil will contest the Lae Open seat.

Pangu Party Leader, Sam Basil, says they will be placing nine candidates in all the nine districts of Morobe, and are confident Pangu candidates will win.

Pangu’s Morobe Regional Candidate, Gibson Saonu, and Lae Open candidate, Samson Ambil, were nominated at around 2pm this afternoon.

Gibson Saonu, who will be contesting the Regional seat is confident to win. He is the first candidate for the Morobe regional sit to be nominated.

Saonu is up against at least 25 candidates including the sitting member of parliament, Kelly Naru, and the former member, Luther Wenge.

Meanwhile, Lae Open Candidate, Samson Ambil, is up against 45 candidates. Ambil he says he has every confidence to win.

Ambil has been in Lae for a number of years and says he contested the Lae Open seat to bring in the much needed change that has been lacking in the city for a long time.
