The 2015 Pacific Games is not all about the Games but also providing opportunities for business houses to market their products and services to the global market.
There is a wide range of promotional opportunities, including publicity, venues, ticketing, merchandising, volunteer programs, the Games relay and access to athletes.
The Games Organising Committee (GOC) made this known during a sponsor activation workshop for 2015 Pacific Games sponsors. GOC CEO Peter Stewart said it is ideal for sponsors to use the Games to deliver key messages and market their products.
“The sponsors can use these opportunities to do more than just signage. It’s the look and feel that will stick to people’s mind; therefore, use the Games as an opportunity to deliver you key messages and showcase your products through fun activities that will link to your brand,” he said.
A business club will be created at the Sir John Guise Stadium to allow business-to-business interaction for sponsors.
