The Oro Provincial government presented its 2019 provincial budget to Treasurer Charles Abel today (March 20, 2019).
Despite being one of the last provinces to submit their budget for this year, governor for Oro Garry Juffa says the Oro Provincial Government had to get things in order so that funds go to the right place.
Juffa says their 2019 budget will focus on Tourism and Agriculture, amongst other areas.
Oro Governor Gary Juffa with the Open Members for Ijivitari and Sohe and the Administration Team presented the province’s 2019 budget to Treasurer Charles Abel.
While the province has been facing capacity and leadership issues recently, Governor Juffa says development and strategic plans for the province are in place and all they have been waiting for is to present the budget.
During the presentation, Juffa raised an issue to Treasurer Charles Abel regarding the shares of the Oil Palm industry in Oro.
Governor Juffa further emphasized that this year’s provincial budget will also look at addressing health and education issues in the province.
