O’Neill signs Air Service Agreement with Republic of Marshall Island

Prime Minister Peter O’Neill has signed an Air Services Agreement with the President of the Republic of Marshall Islands. The agreement was signed between Prime Minister O’Neill and President of Marshall Island, Hilda Heine, following the 8th Pacific Alliance Leaders’ Meeting in Iwaki, Japan.

The Prime Minister thanked Madam Heine for her government’s agreement to the Air Services Agreement..

“I am pleased that we have completed this and I know that our officials on both sides have worked hard in finalizing the text of the agreement. This signing ceremony reflects our commitment in making sure that the relationship between our two countries continue to be beneficial to both Marshall Islands and Papua New Guinea. I want to thank you for allowing us to fly to your country and that those services can benefit both Papua New Guinea and Marshall Islands in the future “said Prime Minister Peter O’Neill.

Government officials will now finalize the text of the agreement for implementation.
