In this episode:
We feature the school debate by the Department of Justice and Attorney General (DJAG).
This debate brought together students from five different schools to discuss pressing issues that are affecting them as teenagers, and also to help the DJAG in coming up with the regulation for juvenile justice in PNG.
This is an initiative aimed at looking at things from the students’ perspective which portrays how they look at certain issues.
This is vital when drafting policies and regulations focused at their specific age group, with the fact that, in most cases, children do not have a say in policies or regulations that are formulated targeting them.
