It is essential to recognise the interaction between the indigenous and scientific knowledge, as this is vital for disaster risk reduction.
We also feature the trainings driven by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the development of Community based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) Plans. This is a collaboration between IOM, Provincial Disaster Offices and other stakeholders and most importantly the locals.
