NPC Staff Complete Public Service Induction Training

The National Procurement Commission has become the first state agency to complete the Public Service Induction training for its staff.

38 officers were presented with certificates today from the Pacific Institute of Leadership and Governance.

NPC Executive Manager for corporate services Johnson Hebe says the training is part of NPC’s commitment to training young and aspiring public servants.

“This was the first of its kind that we have conducted such training outside our campus.

“Staff professional development remains one of the key priority for NPC management under our CEO because we believe having the best people will help you drive the change and progress you want and would like to see for the organization,” Mr Hebe said.

Since NPC came into operation in 2019, staff professional development remains a key priority as it moves forward to replace the Central Supply and Tenders Board.
