The National Youth Convention was officially opened yesterday at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, in Vunapope, Rabaul, with the theme, ‘Called to the fullness of life and love’.
260 youths representing all the dioceses in the country gathered to participate at this time of prayer, reflection, and growth in prayer.
The program’s highlights include a welcome ceremony flag parade of different provinces that attended, song and dance by the host province and youths attending a session to pledge to live pure until marriage.
The Convention has been organized by the National Youth Convention committees and will conclude on Thursday, 12 of December, with a thanksgiving mass.
