West New Britain Governor, Sasindran Muthuvel has called on retrenched public servants, and relatives of former Public Servants in Bialla town, to vacate houses for replacement officer’s to move in.
This came to light during the Bialla Fishermen’s Corporative Society in Bialla recently.
Governor Muthuvel said housing is a temporary asset provided to public servants, and is the solely belongs to the state. He said such attitude affects service delivery to the vast populace.
Meanwhile, Bialla community leaders raised the concern of hefty ambulance fees, and Medical Reports fees charged by Bialla Hospital.
Mr Muthuvel said to bring the issues to the attention of the recently sworn in Provincial Health Authority Board Members, to address the issues accordingly. “With the new Health Board in place and the power vested in them to hire and fire, there should be effective and efficient decisions to rectify the situation,” he stressed.
The new Provincial Health Authority Board was sworn last month in provincial capital Kimbe.
