After being crowned this year’s Miss PNG Pacific Island, Niawali Anastacia Twain is ready for the upcoming 2017 Regional Miss Pacific Islands pageant.
Twain is currently in the Fijian capital and upon her arrival yesterday (November 29) she was welcomed by reigning Miss Pacific Islands, Anne Dunn.
Ms Twain, alongside other contestants, will participate in activities that will be staged at the Prince Charles Park from December, 6-9.
In a Facebook post, Ms Twain stated, “Today is the day we take the Nation to Nadi, Fiji for the 2017 Regional Miss Pacific Islands pageant. I am humbled and honored to represent my island nation Papua New Guinea. I have solid faith in Yahveh He will see us through and establish His will.”
Former Miss Papua New Guinea, Abigail Havora is the only Papua New Guinean to be crowned Miss Pacific Island, taking the crown in 2015.
Will Ms Twain reclaim the crown for Papua New Guinea come December 9?
