The 2017 PNG Media Pool was launched todayn(17/06/17) at the Lamana Gold Club.
For the 12 years, this competition has been running, it has seen ever growing interest from media houses here in the capital city.
For this year, 24 teams will be putting themselves to the test once more.
The competition will be running for the next 19 weeks. Now, only three weeks into competition, the turn up looks promising.
Media Pool Competition Chairman Tony Sipa, said there are a number of strong contenders already showing dominance, including Cool Graphics, who won back-to-back titles in the last two years.
And other teams gracing the competition include Niusmakers, CRE, Freelancers, NBC, Education Media and others.
The competition as usual will be played every Saturday at the Lamana Gold Club.
