The Madang Soccer Association (MSA) was generous with their gate takings at the Laiwaden Oval over the weekend during the NSL match between Madang FC and Southern Strikers.
According to MSA board member, Conrad Wadunah, 10 percent of the takings were put towards supporting displaced Kadovar Islanders of East Sepik.
Southern Strikers also donated K1,000.
Over K2,000 was raised in this relief effort.
