Headquarter Staff of Teachers Savings & Loan Society today commemorated International Credit Union Day.
Through the theme “Local Service, Global Reach”, the day was about promoting the impact of credit unions over the years in PNG.
A shorter day than usual for staff at the headquarters of Teachers Savings & Loan Society today, with staff taking time off to commemorate International Credit Union Day.
Through the theme, “Local Service, Global Reach”, the afternoon was about celebrating efforts of TISA over the years, as a member of the global Credit Union movement.
Over the years, TISA has played a leading role in promoting the credit union concept in PNG, and for the staff, recent developments within its business are testament to its commitment to helping contributors.
As part of commemorations, an in-house competition was held to choose the best-dressed division for the day.
“So with the local service TISA is being part of the credit union for over 40 years inthis country and for the staff they’ve been helping a lot of people , easing the pressures of peoples financial demands.” Bibian Barreng – Marketing & Media Relations Manager.
The winners, chosen by media representatives present. In the end, Team Finance were announced as Winners for this mini-competition, capping off a day of reflection and celebration, on efforts to strengthen the Credit-Union spirit in PNG.
