Hunters’ veteran and Kumuls fullback Stargroth Amean chased down a phone thief who snatched his mobile phone from his vehicle while he was trying to negotiate oncoming traffic at POM’s Four Mile roundabout.
In a chase described as ‘just like a scene from a movie,’ Amean chased down the thief and caught him 200 metres from where the snatching occured.
Soon after Amean pounced on him, the public gave the thief ‘street justice’ after realizing that he stole from the rugby star.
The petty criminal was later brought to Boroko Police Station.
