Kumul Petroleum Holdings has joined the Hunters family of sponsors by coming on board as Gold Sponsors. They have sponsored the Hunters for the next three years.
The Gold sponsorship will see the Kumul Petroleum logo printed on the sleeves of the jerseys.
As the national oil and Gas Company in Papua New Guinea, one of their visions is to share wealth in developing and helping Papua New Guineans through social development, one way is through sports. With the success of the Hunters over the years, Kumul Petroleum Managing Director, Wapu Sonk said that with the 3-year sponsorship, they are looking forward to being part of the Hunters success.
PNGRFL Chairman, Sandis Tsaka said the sponsorship will not only be used towards the Hunters elite program but will be used for the academy and pathway programs under the Hunters brand.
He said PNGRFL and the Hunters program is looking forward to working with Kumul Petroleum to help address issues and the 3-year partnership will be profitable.
A cheque of K3 million was presented to the PNGRFL board with the first payment of K1 million made this week with subsequent payments of K1 million each to be made in January 2019 and January 2020.
