Former Kundiawa-Gembolg MP, Tobias Kulang has denied the responsibility of the burning down of vehicles belonging to the current MP, William Onglo.

The burning down of the fleet took place at Gembolg station last Saturday.

Kulang said what transpired may have involved his tribesman, but it must not be blamed on the 2017 election-related issues.

He issued a media release stating their political differences ended in August this year after the election petition case was over.

Kulang and his family were also attacked last Saturday, at around midnight, at their residence in Port Moresby.

It was reported to the police that armed men stormed his property and attempted to burn down his two vehicles and property while they were still inside.

Mr. Kulang is urging for the rule of law to take effect.
