Jiwaka province is prepared to go to the polls despite many challenges in its election preparations.
Jiwaka Election Manager, Rosie Pandihau said polling materials and officials are already geared up to carry out polling.
Pandihau told EMTV News a petition regarding polling venues by candidates has been the only elections issues in Jiwaka province.
She said despite these challenges, Jiwaka is prepared for the polls.
Pandihau has come under criticism by candidates contesting in the three open electorates and the regional seat. However, she said the visit by the IDEC Team earlier this week has seen Electoral Commissioner Patilias Gamato clarify issues regarding polling venues.
Southern Highlands is also ready for polling. Election Manager David Wakias said everything is in order with polling materials under heavy police guard.
Southern Highlands and Jiwaka will have one day polling on June 30th.
