Japan and Yangoru-Saussia District Ties Relationship Through Classroom Opening

The opening of a four-in-one classroom at the St Patrick’s Sassoya Primary School in the Yangoru-Saussia District has again strengthened the partnership between the people of Japan and East Sepik Province.

Local MP, Richard Maru, during the opening ceremony last Sunday told Japanese Ambassador to PNG, Satosha Nakajima, that the district is ready to partner Japan to better develop the district and the Province as a whole.

He said Japan must work close with East Sepik as they have ties dating back to World War II.
